Commercially available sugar is vegan and vegetarian.
Sugar may come from cane sugar which is sometimes processed through bone char which some consider non-vegan. By default we mark it as vegan for the reasons described in cane sugar. If you would like to change this you can go to the settings and mark sugar as maybe non-vegan
