Commercially available seasoning may be vegan depending on the source and may be vegetarian depending on the source.
Seasoning is a very generic term for ingredients added to a product to enhance a particular flavor. In general, these will be vegan as it will mostly be things like salt, vegetable powders, etc. However, based on my understanding of the FDA policy guideline linked below, it is not limited to spices and may contain things like a "dried cheese preparation" or other animal derived ingredients. Therefore this may or may not be vegan.
